[0:00:16.2] Hey, everyone, Stephen Esketzis here from Marketing on the Move and I’m with you from a very late night. Here on a Monday night, or technically Tuesday.

It’s 1:25 AM in the morning and I’m driving back from the office after hustling out a long day. Got in there at around about 9:30 in the morning, 10 o’clock, and literally just left. I’ve not left the office, been a super long day.

Started off a lot less productive than I hoped but then absolutely crushed it for the last six or seven hours and even before that. So it’s been a really long day, been hustling it out and haven’t done a podcast episode in a while so I wanted to touch base with you all Marketing on the Move listeners, seeing what you’ve guys been up to, telling you a little bit about what I’ve been up to.

[0:01:01.0] So yesterday, I just got back from Sydney.  I caught up with Russell Brunson.

For those of you that know that I’m writing for ClickFunnels for their content marketing on their blog. He came down to Australia to work with one of his clients, so we were working on building a funnel for the guys.

If you’re familiar with Mal Emery and Ian Marsh, they had an event called “StreetSmart Marketing” in Australia, in Sydney. So I was over there helping them build their sales funnel ad and we’re filming testimonials, filming a whole lot of stuff, click funnels and stuff as well.

A lot of fun, a lot of early mornings, a lot of late nights but it was a ton of fun hanging out with the guys. And yeah, we had a drone as well, so Brandon, one of the video guys as well, brought his drone, about a $4,000-$5,000 drone he brought, absolutely crazy.

Brought it to Sydney and we were filming it all across the bay. It was absolutely amazing, breathtaking stuff. I’ve got a new found love for Sydney.

I wasn’t such a fan a while ago but now that I’ve been to the beachside where all the beautiful weather is and I’m sold on it, so I highly recommended, Coogee Bay, that’s where we were. But aside from that—so that was two nights, three days.

It was just hardcore hustling, working to 5/6/7AM mornings, working until late, going out, having a bit of fun as well, just hanging out which is awesome. So it’s good to have a bit of a break, but now back into it.

[0:02:23.9] And two things that I’m super excited to share with you guys that I’ll be launching on the website. So I’ll share one of them. The other one is coming soon. I don’t want to spoil the surprise because it’s going to be awesome, but one which we’re almost done with.

So we’re actually building an entire funnel builder on my website. So we’re going to build up a funnel builder which means you’re going to go through and you choose what type of sales funnel you want.

So you’re going to be able to go through all these different types of sales funnels, all personally built, personally and click funnels have gone through and built all these very, very advanced sales funnels. So these sales funnels which I’ve put blood, sweat and tears into building, you’re going to get absolutely free.

So what’s going to happen is you’re going to go through step one. It’s kind of like a quiz. You go through, you choose step one.

Actually, I like to think of it as a menu. When you go, you order at the restaurant to order your banquet, what do you have for your entrée?

What do you have for your main meal?

What do you have for dessert?

It’s the exact same sort of principles. So you’re going to go onto this sales funnel builder.

First question is, “What type of sales funnel would you want?”

So you’re just going to have a webinar funnel, free plus shipping funnel, survey funnel, launch funnel, educational bridge, everything you can think of. And we’re going to be adding to it every single week.

So I’m super pumped about that. That’s the first question, and then the next one is going to be your e-mail sequences for that funnel. So you’re going to get a whole lot of templated e-mail sequences which you literally just plug in and push off with.

So if you’re a product launch funnel, for example, you’re going to have the exact e-mail that you need to send to your prospects who have opted in for the first video, that have been for the second.

You’re going to have the exact e-mail that you’re going to have for the webinar guys—sorry, for just the exact same e-mail for the guys that have just signed up versus people that haven’t signed up yet. It’s going to be nuts.

So I’ve put hours and hours, and hours and we’re still almost there. We’re just about finished with this funnel builder, with my developer.

It’s crazy. I wanted to bring something to the market which absolutely nobody has ever, ever come close to in regards to sales funnels, like people would literally—I still charge thousands of dollars for this, but I wanted to give it away for free because I know that the guys who follow me deserve the best. I actually spent thousands of dollars putting this together as well.

So I’m hoping everybody likes it. I’m hoping it takes off a little bit, but yeah.

[0:04:41.1] So essentially, that’s the second part as well. That’s only step two, so you get your e-mail sequence and then you’re going to traffic.

What type of traffic will you be running?

And then you get into what kind of traffic, what kind of tools they’re going to be using. There’s a whole lot of information in there. It’s nuts.

There’s just so much that you can do with it.

You can—like there’s so many different—it’s really cool. I can’t really explain it in words. I’m a bit tired right now but you’ll have to go on and have a look or send me an e-mail about it if you want a sneak preview, but it’s amazing.

You’ll love it. So that’s the plan.

[0:05:15.1] And then, I’ve got one more thing coming out in the website before the end of the year, which we’re in the middle of the development of, probably, I don’t know if that’s as cool as the sales funnel, for me, it’s super cool and I’m sure you guys will love it. But the sales funnel builder is going to be epic, like that’s taking a few months to put together, but it’s going to be awesome. So they are the two things which I’ve been working on.

[0:05:36.1] And another thing is I just hired a new virtual assistant. So my new virtual assistant called Mydee has joined the team.

We just went with a new—an outsourcing angel, so they’re an agency here in Australia that works with people from the Philippines. They work everything for us so that should be awesome.

I’m pumped to see her. That’s going to go.

I had a few issues with hiring and letting go the last assistant, so this one’s going to be awesome. I know she’s doing a killer job, probably editing this podcast right now.

So yeah, it’s a lot been going on, been hiring new people. We’ve been redoing the office here in Melbourne. I just flew to Sydney.

There’s going to be a few more trips planned as well before the end of the year. We’re going to Hong Kong soon to Queensland here in Australia, so a whole lot going on.

[0:06:24.6] But what can you expect from the next few months is a whole lot of value, so one more thing I’m also doing is fixing up my entire self upon myself, that I’ve been lacking in for a while. I mean, it’s always the same thing where the guy who doesn’t preach what he does.

It’s always their sales funnel that’s the worst so that was the case with my website for a while. I didn’t really have a follow-up sequence, but now you’re going to have something epic.

So it’s really going to stand out from the crowd and I hope you guys like it. You can go through and there should be funnel hack, go see what I’m doing and find out why I’m doing it, how I’m doing it and go do it yourself.

I really implore you to go through and just pull apart what I’m doing, see why I’m doing it. I can’t wait to see what comes out of it. What else has been happening? I’m also out of time. I’ve got about a couple of more minutes.

[0:07:12.5] But another thing that actually happened was I’m working with a new client.

I’m not even taking on any new clients at the moment but there’s one guy who’s super impressed me and we’ll see after the next few weeks if we keep working together and the results I get are as good as I think we’re going to be, then I’ll definitely share with you what we’re getting in which industry he’s in and what we’re doing together. But I’m super excited about that, so that’s going to be really exciting. And aside for that, that’s all that’s been happening, guys.

I’ve been trying to get my podcast back up on the road. I know we’ve got a few more booked in this month. We’ve got some epic people coming on.

It’s just been a bit of a lull with everything that’s been, a lot of traveling and work and things have come up, but I promise that there is a lot of stuff coming through and you will absolutely love it, so just hang in there. Be it financially as well, it’s actually been a record month. So on my end personally, it’s been the biggest month I’ve ever had.

So I want to share now, I’m not going to be sharing the numbers with you but just to give you a heads up that on that end of things as well, it’s been doing fantastic. We’re going to be changing a few things there as well, so hopefully, everyone’s profiting with what they’re doing.

If you’re with your sales funnels, with your online marketing, remember, your income is key. Always keep building that.

A few things that I’ve been working on at the moment that I’ve been focusing on, my income, number one, so cash flow, one of them. Number two is profit, so really maximizing that profit margin.

Not looking at just revenue, top line revenue, but looking at lowering your expenses, increasing that top-line revenue, minimizing your tax.

What do you actually take home?

What do you bank?

Maximizing that, that’s where the money is and then how you invest it.

So I actually put up a Facebook post today where I was talking to people and I’m saying that the amount of people that don’t look at what they’re doing with their investment—it just astounds me. So many people out there, they just focus on income, the next deal, the next job, but it’s the investing which actually matters.

I mean, what you’re doing right now, you’re not going to be doing when you’re 50 years old, chances are. You’ll be changing.

So you need to really evaluate how you’re going to build your wealth starting from now. So if you’re young—like I’m 21 years old, turning 22 next week actually and I’m already thinking about how is my wealth going to be affected when I’m 50 years old, 40 years old?

When I’ve got a family, when I’ve got kids, when I’ve got mortgages, when I’m building my empire, by then, I want to have everything set up. So how do you want to be perceived by the time you’re 50, 60, 70 when you retire? Whatever age you’re at, it’s never too late.

But how do you want to be perceived?

Where is that wealth coming from?

How are you going to invest?

That’s one thing which I’m going to be talking a lot more about and I might do a podcast specifically on investing eventually because it’s one thing I’m really passionate about is actually growing your asset column, not worrying about those expenses/liabilities.

I mean, having a nice car is really cool—and I’ll talk to you about that in a second—but building that asset portfolio up is really important. So whatever you’re investing in, making sure that it’s actually an asset, it’s growing, that’s just key. You need to do that.

There’s no easy way of getting around that. So that is one thing which I know is extremely important which I’ve been focusing on, the other one is building equity in your business.

So one thing which I’m also growing at the moment is realizing that it’s time to build equity in my businesses, so really make them—I’m looking at them in a year’s time or in 12 months’ time, where do I want that business to be and what do I need to do to make it get to where I want it to be?

What do I need to do to push it to that spot?

So in 12 months’ time, the equity has been built in the business. So the value is all being built.

So I have to think about how do you build equity?

And what I’m talking about is it’s funny, I came back from this event in Sydney, I was speaking to one couple and then it’s where Russell was speaking as well. So we were out there to build the funnel and he was also speaking at this event.

So one of the couples there were actually talking how they were doing really well in business. They had a seven-figure business doing millions of dollars, and they’re from Perth in Australia.

And then, they got hit with really tough times, they’re like the rug got pulled out under their feet. And they thought they were doing really well like their business was a machine.

It was just crushing it. Everything was working well, but as soon as the rug got pulled under their feet, they realized that their nest egg really only lasted them another month or two before they were flat broke.

They really didn’t have everything—anything to their name. And it was tough times for them and it really alerted me that if everything got pulled out under the rug, how secure are you?

Number one, financially, but your business. Is it going to be sustainable long-term or is it going to be based on supply and demand in the market.

So that’s one thing which I know that like is your business completely based on paid advertising?

Is it completely based on organic traffic?

How are you acquiring customers?

How are you getting leads through the door?

How are you making sales?

What’s going to be the effect to your business?

How do you grow it?

All these things that come into play, so that’s one thing.

Would you diversify? Do you just put all your eggs in one basket? All these things are important.

So that was one thing which I’ve been focusing on as well, so just reevaluating my business so I know that in 12 months, if something happens in between that, do I have the money to sustain?

Where can I grow?

Where can I afford to take risks?

All these sort of things need to come into context when you’re looking at growing your business. So that was another thing I’ve been focusing on lately.

[0:12:45.7] But the actual—the thing with the car, I don’t know if I’ve mentioned it on the podcast officially, but I actually won a car through ClickFunnels through their Dream Car competition.

So I’m one of their top affiliates, so if you recommend over 200 people to ClickFunnels, you get a car. So you get—well, pay your lessor payments on the car. If you hit over 100 people, it’s $500 a month.

If you get over 200 people, they’ll pay $1,000 a month, ongoing every month to the lease of your car of your choice. So yeah, it was really funny that somehow I won this car and I’m organizing that with them now so that will be cool.

Hopefully, I’ll post some photos or send out an e-mail or something. But to be honest, it’s not hugely in my radar, it sort of just happened, but it’s kind of cool. So I guess it’s kind of a cool thing to have.

We’ll see maybe—the problem I had actually which you guys might find interesting or you might not, but—is that all these places I went hired a cool car, so what I thought is in Australia, it’s actually really expensive to hire a car, so also hoping to get a really nice car, like a Ferrari or I don’t know, a Lamborghini or something like that, even just for a week instead of a full month, but you’ve got to be like 25 or 30 years old to drive them. And over here, I’m 21, I’m super young.

I still got three or four months left on my probationary license, so yeah, it’s going to be interesting. I’m going to see what kind of car I can get and we’ll play around. We’ll have a look what we can do there.

[0:14:09.5] But yeah, that’s pretty much it, guys. That’s pretty much wrapped up, an update of what I’ve been up to. Like I said, you can expect some big things, the funnel builder is definitely on the horizon.
