[00:17] Stephen Esketzis: What’s going on guys?

It’s Stephen here, back with Marketing on the Move. I’m so happy to bring you guys today a joint podcast. First one, introducing my good friend Ricky Baldasso.

[00:28] Ricky Baldasso: Hey guys, how are you doing?

[00:31] Stephen Esketzis: So we have got Ricky here. I’ve just moved into my new office today down Bridge Road in Richmond in Melbourne. So if you’re listening from anywhere around you can come down and say hello to me.

Send me a message on Facebook, and we’ll grab a coffee.

[00:44] Stephen Esketzis: Otherwise, what I want to speak to you guys today is about sales funnels because the first thing when I came in here and did with Ricky is set up a sales funnel.

We put together a pretty bad ass funnel; we shared each other secrets, and I think we’re going to be dominating for the next few weeks.

We’re just about to head off to Taki Moore and Sydney as well. He’s gonna be teaching us about webinars: how to really take them onto the next level. We’re both very excited for that.

So I’m sure we’ll have another joint podcast actually, while we’re in Sydney.

We’ll have to do a Sydney one. So Ricky, tell us a bit about how you use webinars in your business, and tell everyone about what you do.

[01:21] Ricky Baldasso: Awesome! Yes, so what we do is we work with the young entrepreneurs, predominantly in their twenties, and we help them accelerate and fast-track their success and their results and build five figure per month lifestyle businesses.

So we focus on lifestyle businesses that don’t restrict people to any spot, and we focus on setting up business models where the majority of the sales are done online either via webinar, signed digital products or signed physical products online.

So that’s a bit about what we do and how we use webinars.

We’ve actually restructured our whole online sales funnel to make our webinars and monthly webinars (which are going be running, live webinars) the kind of centerpiece of our entire funnel.

Say for example, every single time we do a blog or we do a lead magnet or anything like that, we’re taking people from that page- from that piece of value, directly to our webinar registration page, and then from there we already have their details from their e-mail sequences as well.

We get people informed every month that there are a lot of trainings, and then from there we get people from our first product in our sales funnel essentially.

Up until there it’s all free value, and then if people like what they’ve learned from the webinar, we get them into an eight week online course where we essentially teach them all about how to build a five digit lifestyle business.

[02:53] Stephen Esketzis: That is killa! Killa! Killa!

[02:55] Ricky Baldasso: What is it?

[02:57] Stephen Esketzis: Killa No Filla.

[02:58] Ricky Baldasso: All Killa No filla.

[02:59] Stephen Esketzis: All Killa No Filla.

[03:00] Stephen Esketzis: Now you guys, it’s been sick, and I’m just having a look at it now. We’re actually just looking at the white board right now and recapping on what we wrote half an hour ago, and it looks amazing.

So what Ricky has done is — he’s actually got shabby handwriting but apart from that, what he’s done is use Facebook ads to leverage himself, and one key thing which I spoke about in another podcast is re-marketing, and Ricky is absolutely killing the re-marketing.

Do you want share with the guys how you’re planning to use re-marketing in your sales funnel?

[03:29] Ricky Baldasso: Absolutely, absolutely! So essentially, there’s always a different step in your online sales funnel, just as there would be in an offline sales funnel.

So for example, our main kind of core funnel that we’re using in our ad is taking people to a landing page where they can opt-in for a lead magnet, and then on the thank you page after opting in there’s actually a webinar registration page.

So what we’re doing is we’re utilizing the momentum of them taking action to then go to the next step, and then as soon as they register for the webinar we take them to another page which is where they can put in their phone number to get a reminder about the webinar when it’s live, and then on the thank you page of that they go to a sales page for a book that I’m actually writing at the moment, which should be ready in the next week also and up on Amazon.

So what we do is we use re-marketing.

One of the main things we do is we take…what will happen is people get to the third page or the fourth page and then they won’t go to the fifth page or they wanna go to… if you know what I mean.

They will go only so far in your sales funnel and then they won’t opt-in for the next thing and we use re-marketing to remind them of the things that they didn’t opt-in for, if that makes sense.

So for example, someone might opt-in for one of our lead magnets but then not opt-in for our webinar.

So then we’ll re-market to them to opt-in for the webinar, and we also do a crowd of things like…

I’ll show them some of the testimonials of people that have been in one of our webinars and things like that.

So there’s a lot of really advanced stuff we do with re-marketing such as something called bonus stacking, which is really cool.

When you present your product and if anyone doesn’t buy, then you can do a sequence where you keep the price point the same, and you just add one bonus.

Then you add another bonus, and then you add a third bonus, and then you top that off with a little bit a scarcity, and you’ll find that you’ll close a lot more people into your programs — in your products just by doing that.

[05:40] Stephen Esketzis: That’s quality, that bonus stacking, guys. I’ll have to make a whole other podcast because that one is really, really good. Just a technique that you can use, and you don’t have to be online- you can do that with anything.

You can even call back — just say that you’re an offline business for example, and you’re selling drink bottles, and it’s a shocking example, but just say you’re selling drink bottles, and you’re selling maybe one bottle, and then I guess you come back and you try to offer them a bonus on top of that just before they go, and you say,

“Look! If you buy the bottle before you go, we’ll give you this and we’ll give you this and we’ll give you this,” and you can always use these complimenting products, which obviously aren’t as big as your main and core product, but they have just complimented enough to get the other person on the line.

So I’m sure you guys have heard people on the phone do that.

Telemarketers do that a lot. They say,  “Look, for a limited time you get this!”, and then when you say you’re about to leave they say “Hang on a minute, I’ll give you this as well.”

So it happens a lot but it’s only recently being used online.

So if you have got an online business it will definitely work.

Maybe for like a store, like a shopping store- like a Shopify card or something like that where if someone’s about to leave then you can offer them a free ten percent voucher on their next purchase.

You can offer them a free keychain or key ring, whatever you want, and just keep stacking those bonuses up to a point where they’re forced to come back. And Ricky’s going to be doing that through re=targeting like he said.

So imagine being able to go back to your Facebook page after you’ve decided not to buy whatever Ricky’s cause is and then seeing, “Hey you can get a free CD full of NOP techniques or full of business advice,  and you can get that sent to your door just by signing up for his 8 week course.”

[07:20] Stephen Esketzis: That’d be pretty killa yeah?

[07:22] Ricky Baldasso: Absolutely! That’d be nuts.

[07:24] Stephen Esketzis: Alright guys, we going to wrap it up here. Keep it nice and short. I’m trying to keep this to about 5 minutes, so All Killa No Filla as Ricky would say, and we’ll wrap it up here.

And tomorrow, hopefully, I can bring you another episode while we’re in Sydney. It’s going to be killa time. If you are in Sydney and you are listening to this reach out to us.

Reach out to me and Ricky, and we’ll see if we can organize a Skype meeting.

Having said that it probably should be in person since we’re going up there!

[07:55] Stephen Esketzis: But anyway, I’ll speak to you soon guys. Make sure you implement some of the things or if you have got questions let me know in the comments on the website or my website stephenesketzis.com.

Have a look at Ricky’s website; Mastery Academy is his company.

Where can I find out more about you Ricky?

[08:11] Ricky Baldasso: Masteryacademy.com.au, check it out. There will be some cool, fun things you can get for free there, and if you want to learn a bit more about what we do and if you think that we can help you, and you want to build a five figure lifestyle business, then reach out and we’ll get you started on one of our programs.

[08:30] Stephen Esketzis: He’s an absolute weapon of a coach. Someone who I highly recommend. Go check out his stuff there guys. You can find it on my Facebook and OneNote as well.

Have a chat with him. He’s easy to get along with even though he might sound a little aggressive over the phone. (laugh) Just kidding.

[08:48] Stephen Esketzis: We’ll speak you soon. I’m leaving it here, and take it easy guys!
