[00:17] Hey guys, Stephen here and I’m thrilled to get going with the first episode of Marketing on the Move.
[00:23] I’ve done this a few times now but the quality hasn’t been fantastic so I think I’ve finally worked out a way where I can be able to project my voice well enough from the car.
[00:32] So I have some killer news to tell you about today with planning on..at Meggle anyway, on the Meggle side of things.
We’re planning on moving our membership side and platform to a whole new level – super excited about that.
We’ve got some massive news in store that should be coming out in the next few weeks and also excited to head to Sydney on the 18th and 19th of October.
Me and a couple of other wonderful guys are gonna be going to see Taki Moore. He is a fantastic presenter about webinars, and millionare – coach marketing machine, I think is called.
That’s gonna be in Sydney. So, that should really be good guys.
It’s always.. what I love is where you get to up level your knowledge all over a single weekend and investing in yourself is something which can get to your goals lot quicker than anything else.
It’s something which I found a lot of value in and frankly, one of the spots where if you are now investing in your own self and your education, do not take that longer where you need to be and you are almost building some sort of strategic partnership.
I was listening to Russel Branson’s podcast actually and I absolutely love his podcast too.
His is called Marketing in the Car and its actually similar to where I got the idea for Marketing on the Move (but yeah).
When I listened to his podcast, he said “there are two types of people: there is people that learn their way to the top and learn their way in and there is other people who buy their way in” and that really resonated with me so I thought these two types of people, only one goes in a lot quicker that the other and obviously, the people that buy their way in instantly have access to the people at the top and learned rather than learning their way up (means take a lot of time and you’ve got to do it on your own).
So I fund it interesting – I think that’s really a great lesson that obviously, if you don’t have the money, you’re gonna have to learn your way in or work hard enough until you can buy your way in.
[02:26] But he gave an example of a kid who really..he went to one of his friend’s masterminds and he found this kid there and he goes “Look, he seem to be of other things and other and he’s quite young” – pretty much a young entrepreneur and he said “Look, how can you afford to get into all these masterminds, you are pretty young.” and he goes “Look Russel, he told him there are two lessons: you could buy your way in or you can learn, and I chose to buy my way in.
It’s a lot more quicker, a lot more effective. He goes “what I did was I went out and hustled 10 other entrepreneurs and told them ‘look, guys you put in 20k each and we’re gonna join these 10 different masterminds and I’ll join them all and come back and give you all the information across the board.'”.
[03:15] So he hustled 10 different people so he could get access to these masterminds himself he couldn’t afford. So that is how he sought them and then went on and told them “Look, I’ll go there for you, I’ll deliver and bring back all the information to you.
I’ll get notes, I’ll take recordings and everything and you’ve only have to pay for the fraction of the cost – which is funny and genius!
[03:33] He absolutely hustled it all the way down and getting the result is just fantastic
[03:39] Education in yourself is incredible.
You come back feeling absolutely refreshed as well and learning a heap of new things like next-level your business but just make sure you definitely want to be doing what you are doing because I have seen a lot of dodgy courses where you might go and get charged for an event and I’m charged three to five thousand dollars for a two-day event and you just feel like you are getting sold something you don’t need.
So, just be confident with what you want. You don’t have to make a decision on the spot when someone is selling you, because I know I surely don’t and hat’s one big issue I have with a lot of self help courses is that they sell you on the spot during an event and you don’t really get the opportunity to think about it if that is what you really want to do so keep that in mind, but especially something when you’re learning an actual tactic and something which you know is gonna actually apply in your business or in yourself and you’re confident that that’s gonna make you more money and take you to a next level, then by all means go and do it.
Because that is how you expand your knowledge, that’s how you expand yourself and there’s a lot other people out there who think it’s a waste of money to invest in yourself because it’s a non-tangible product but at the end of the day, it’s the most important thing that you can really invest in because it’s always gonna stay with you regardless of where you go or what you do, that knowledge is going to serve you in the future at some point.
[04:53] I know if my Facebook News Feed, a lot of people has started going to school with. There’s a few popping up here and there which are bbeginningto get into more of the business and personal development and health/lifestyle.
There’s even a couple I’ve seen in MLM companies joining. I’ll tell you upfront now, I’m not a big fan of MLM companies but look, if people like it and they are making money from it and they believe in it, it’s good for them.
I mean, it’s not for me but I know a lot of other people who were very successful in them and I will let them do their thing.
[05:32] But yes, so investing in yourself guys, I just want to touch back on that. Super important and really find out what you are lacking in or what’s holding you back because I found out a few things that’s holding me back where I just didn’t know the right way to go around learning things like there is somethings in my marketing so why I am going with Taki Moore’s one is to master webinars. He is a webinar master.
He absolutely dominates them and he is someone that I want to learn from because the conversion he gets from his webinars are absolutely incredible and that’s something which I want to emulate and the best way to do that is to copy someone’s who is doing a 100% better at the moment.
[06:11] So, if you find something in your business that you think you definitely need to work on or definitely want to improve; going to an event or going to a course is definitely a way to accelerate your learning and accelerating your learning is pretty much speeding up your way to success.
It means investing in yourself and that means hopefully, you’d be able to make ten times as much by the time you get back home or back to your business.
[06:43] I’m just gonna leave it there guys. Quick six minutes to start off. Hopefully this recording comes out nice and clear. I’m looking to have a lot of these done and hopefully make it a daily or bi-daily basis and I look forward to the reviews and what you think.
Let me know what you want me to talk about guys. I’ve got a few things I wanted to talk about – Facebook Ads is a big one, people are desperate to learn that and it’s some sort of a new craze.
Learning Facebook Ads and Facebook courses so I definitely want to deliver some information about that. There these things like outsourcing and writing a book a whole lot of things I wanted to go through.
Exciting times ahead guys and make sure you kill it today when you go to work and I will speak to you soon!
